Case Briefing

Thursday, April 24th — the Amalfi Coast, southern Italy. The motor yacht Meridian — a 65-meter, €40 million floating palace — slipped out of Positano harbor at 6:30 PM under a sky turning gold and rose. The Meridian was Alexander Crane's most prized possession: teak decks, a helipad, a wine cellar holding 2,000 bottles, and a crew of twelve led by the unflappable Captain Elias Thorne.

Alexander Crane, 65, had built Crane Maritime Industries from a single cargo vessel into a €2 billion shipping empire spanning the Mediterranean, the Atlantic, and the Indian Ocean. He was feared in boardrooms, respected by competitors, and described by a former employee as "a man who believed rules applied to everyone except himself."

The Suspects

4 people had the means, the motive, or the opportunity. Only one of them is the killer.

Work through the full case file the way a real detective would: read the police report, walk the crime scene, question every suspect, and study the evidence — including Poisoned Digestif, Captain's Personal Logbook, Oleander Plant Cuttings, MV Calypso Cover-Up Documents, Navigation Log Anomaly. Cross-reference statements against the physical evidence, spot the contradictions, and build your theory before you make your one and only accusation.
